I see you checked the fuses and relays. This may sound stupid but sometimes factories use parts that are unknown to be defective and what you get is something (like a dome light) that lasts only a short time because of the defect. At the factory when the vehicle is assembled and put through a test and passed, it is given a warranty for things such as this. I have purchased replacement parts from big name parts stores that didn't work once re-installed (alternators and starters) and I usually have the parts stores test the replacement part before I buy it now, just because of the headaches of putting the part on just to have the replacement not work. How does this relate to you? Possibly your dome light is the same story. What you should do is check your wiring and gently pull on any electrical connections at the relays and dome light and see if any wiggle/jiggle around in their connectors. If they do then it is just a loose connection/connector. Or, you could just purchase a new dome light and see if the problem goes away. If the light worked before but doesn't now then you have taken the right initial steps, now check the connectors. If that doesn't turn up anything then you most probably need either a new relay or a dome light. There are only a few basic parts to the light system all involving a switch, a relay, and the wiring in between.
