Hope some one can help.
My 2002 Ford Focus SE with 44,000 miles on it is having transmission problems. I keep the vehicle very well maintained. Anyone else out there who has had a similiar problem? BW |

Short Answer - could be the temperature sensor.
My '01 SE has been intermitently jerking/hesitating at steady speed and when changing gears for a year or more. Replaced the fuel pump under recall - no improvement. Got much worse after the quicklube put in to much transmission fluid - got bubbly  . Took it to the tranny shop last week. They diagnosed a faulty temperature sensor, and replaced it. Haven't had any problem in 400 miles since then.
