having problems with my car ..starts hard..stalls restart ...i gotta really keep on gas or it spits and sputters ..stalls at stop signs ..but goin down highway has lots of power..runs rough at idle..especially when cold..been doin it a while now replaced most easy stuff..filters pugs,,etcc... help

I'm having the same problem with mine, too. My check engine light has come on twice as well. Both times when I've taken it in, they've fixed something. I have the receipts in my glove compartment, and I can't remember exactly what they fixed. Any help would be appreciated!

Check the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF). It seems to be the source of this trouble in many cases. It may just need to be cleaned, or replaced entirely. Anyone who may have gone a little too long between air filter replacements may experience this problem. Remove the MAF, and check the 2 small wires inside the sensor. These wires heat up when the engine is running, and if they are broken or dirty, the sensor will send the incorrect information to the engine control computer, causing hard starts, rough idle, and weakened power in most cases. These wires can be CAREFULLY cleaned with spray cleaner. Be sure and choose a cleaner that leaves no residue.
