I NEED HELP ON THIS ASAP!!
Also, my A/C keeps cutting off and on only when its on high. It blows hard, then stop...blows hard again, then stops. Can someone please help me with this problem. Thanks |

does the ac cut out at random or is it when are at WOT?
do you have a ATX? the shaking could be a torque converter problem |

My a/c (when on high) cuts off and on at random, and it does that whether inm drivin or aidle. What is an ATX? I recently got a catalytic converter put in, but it still shakes and is real loud inside the car. What is the difference between a torque converter and a catalytic converter?

An ATX is an automatic transmission. A torque converter is similsr to a clutch in a standard shift car. It transfers the rotation from the engine to the transmission. (this is a simplified explenation) Of course you should know that if you have had the catalytic converter changed, you would know that this is part of the exhaust. The loud noise that you hear could ne from several things, and depends on where it is coming from. If it feels like it is coming from under your feet, it could be the exhaust system striking the underside of the car as it is running.
As for the A/C system, have the charge of the system checked. If it is either overcharged or undercharged it could cause the A/C compressor to start and stop intermittently. If this doesn't help, give us more info and we'll see what else we can suggest. Good Luck!! |

When applying the brakes does the car sort of bounce and shake? Sounds like your Rotors overheaded and warped. I would have them checked as soon as possible before you get into an accident.
