Posts: 1 (09/18/05 14:51:18) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None My 88 Bronco, 4.9L MFI, has a severe hesitation/sputter problem....when accelerating, anything past feathered just off the throttle stop, the engine cuts-out, hesitates/sputters severely....so far ive changed plugs, wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter....cant find the problem...runs fine at idle, starts fine....whats next?...head to the shop for diagnostics?...are those hand-held diagnostic computers worth the money?....HELP PLEASE!

Posts: 3 (10/14/05 19:50:40) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi, I had the same problem a few months ago and it ended up being the egr soleanoid. It is located on the pasenger side under the hood on the fender, it has a round cap that can be turned on it. Pop the cap off and take the little filter out and see if that solves your problem. If it does, change the soleanoid. Hope this helps.
