Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations, you could virtually have any variety of Fairlane your heart desired.

Hi,

I am a brand new member of this forum. I need a little info. I have a 66 Ford Mustang convertible with an early 60's 170 c.i. engine. I need to adjust the valve lash. I am pretty sure this engine was used in the early 60's Ford Fairlanes. I am hoping some of you Fairlane owners might be able to tell me what the feeler gauge reading for the intake and exhaust valves are. a response would be greatly appreciated.

I have a new front wheel hub and a used rocker panel and wheel opening molding for a 1966 fairlane. I sold the car and was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to sell these items. I am a car enthusiast and would love to see these parts put to good use. I have pictures of the moldings when they were still on the car.
