Im getting ready to do this one my 96 Windstar. I have read some other forums that have been very helpful in the steps/procedures on EGR port cleaning but I'm just trying to get some more feedback from others.

I have a 3-day weekend coming up and this will be the perfect time to take on this task. Ill be sure to post back here the results. My Ford dealer wants $119 a piece plus $35 for programming for each of my cars (97 & 02 Limited).

I'm curious to see what other dealerships are charging for new remotes and programming.

I'm done with ebay because the listings show new remotes, and 3 out of 3 times I've won - I end up with junk that doesn't work and won't program. First one was superglued together and cracked. for alittle there has been some noise from the front cover area of the engine. thought it was the water pump and that was replaced, still have a chirping noise.
